Accept the challenge and push your limits. Casual runners and walkers are also welcome to join this fun, inclusive community event. The Timberwolf 5K Run/Walk, and the 1K Fun Run, feature breathtaking views, event t-shirts and the company of hundreds of friendly fitness enthusiasts. Proceeds from registration and sponsorships benefit Northwood High School and Families Forward, a local non‐profit providing supported housing programs, counseling, food, referrals, school supplies, career coaching, and other services for families in crisis.

Race Packet Pick Up: Friday, February 12th from 1p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northwood High School
Race Schedule:
6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. warm up and final check in
8:00 a.m. 5k run/walk
9:00 a.m. 1k fun run/walk
9:15 Awards Ceremony
9:30 to 10:30 Post Race Activities
Support Families Forward, a community‐based nonprofit agency that provides housing, counseling, food, referrals,school supplies, career coaching and other services to families in need. Bring pantry items to race check in (see flyer).
THIS IS THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT WILL GO OUT LATER TODAY—–
- Bring a food donation for Families Forward.
- Why not make it a 5k+ and walk or ride your bike to the race?
- Parking will be limited. If you want to park on NHS grounds, plan to be at school well before 7:30 a.m. The Yale/Portola gate will close at 7:30 a.m. or when the NHS lots are full, whichever is earlier.
- Overflow parking (mandatory at 7:30 a.m. and later) is at Canyon View Elementary and the Chinese Baptist Church on Arborwood and Yale, one block south of the main entrance.
- Run with your Timberwolf friends. Make a plan now where you will meet on Saturday morning.
- Registration packets can be picked up Thursday, February 11 after school, in front of the gym. Can’t make it, arrange for a friend to pick it you for you. Packet pick up begins at 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016.
- Don’t miss the National Anthem, sung by our own Zack Hallop, at 7:50 a.m. The 5k will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and the 1k will begin at 9 a.m.
- Winners, raffle, food and fun will be in the gym.
